Jared Stone - Bio

Jared Stone was born on Earth in the year 2345.  He is one of six children - the youngest - and the only boy.

His parents were killed in an accident when he was 6 years old.  He was raised by his grandmother and sisters.

Jared went into Starfleet, but then left to join the Maquis and fight for their cause.

While in the Maquis, he was the pilot of the Liberty, which was taken by the Caretaker to the Delta Quadrant.

The Liberty was a raider-class starship that was being used to smuggle weapons and other cargo to the Maquis when it was taken to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.

The former Maquis crew took heavy losses when it was brought to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker, and it was run by a skeleton crew. The essentials needed to survive - food, water, medical supplies, and parts needed for maintenance - were a constant battle to obtain.

In order to survive, the Liberty crew did whatever jobs it needed to do - some legal, some not - and went from planet to planet in search of the next mission.

While in the DQ, Jared and the crew encountered Shara, a medic.  She became a part of the crew, and eventually, she and Jared became engaged.

Soon after, the Liberty crew was scattered due to several events, and the ship was destroyed.

After being separated for nearly 10 months, Jared and Shara were reunited, along with another former crew member.

Jared and Shara did not continue their relationship, calling off the engagement.

Now Jared has purchased his own ship, nearly an exact replica of the original Liberty, although in better shape and with some crucial upgrades.

He has named it Liberty II.



Update:  Jared was killed less than an hour after he and Shara married.  He was shot and fatally wounded.
