entry by Shara, Chief Medical Officer of the Liberty II
It has been quite sometime since I've updated the logs. It seems like we don't have any downtime anymore - one thing just rolls into another.
On a personal note, Mirek is back. He's not a clone. He is actually my husband. Well, I guess he's not my husband anymore, but he is really Mirek.
I am still with Warlocke and Boss. I still haven't figured out how to deal with this love quadrangle that's going on. Actually, if you add Blue and H'Ress into the mix, it becomes a very convoluted situation.
As far as business is concerned,we have run into G'naal and her crew. Dylatt is her second in command. She runs a pirate ship, but she also has an alliance with numerous other ships. At this point, we honestly don't know how extensive this network is. Our estimation is that they are our hundreds of ships that are aligned with her. How many hundreds of ships is the question that we don't know the answer to. It makes her quite a formidable foe.
But, we aren't exactly sure where she stands. While we have been at odds with her and her crew, the last encounter we had ended peacefully.
And we recently reached out to her for help.
Let me give some background.
A while back, I was obsessed with finding Jared's killer [Brandon Stonn]. I made a deal with the devil in order to find his murderer and arrange a meeting with him on Nar Shaddaa. Boss and Ian went with me, and it was a good thing that they did. They ended up saving my life.
In order to arrange the meeting, I paid some credits - but there was a second part to my debt. I was supposed to use my pheromones and other skills in order to obtain some information from a rival of my debtor's.
I waited on Tynnara for several days for the shuttle that was supposed to take me to Nar Shaddaa, but it was late in arriving. In the meantime, Boss and Sev (his friend and fellow clone/Mando) were injured and needed help. Ian quickly called the crew together and set out to help Boss and Sev.
We picked them up and I treated their injuries. Then we quickly made a return back to Tynnara, but it was too late. In the time that I was away from Tynnara, the shuttle arrived to pick me up. I missed the rendezvous point.
It was at this point that I received a comm from my debtor. He considered the contract to have been forfeited and a bounty had been placed on my head.
Now, for my safety, Ian has suggested that I hide on G'naal's ship until we can figure out how to get this price off of my head.
I know that this is probably the best option, but being on that ship with no one else from the Liberty crew scares me.
G'naal has said that she will hide me on her ship if I helped train her people in how to use the medical tech from my galaxy. She wants to do a refit of the medical bay on her ship, and she wants me to help train her men - or at least one or two of them - so that they can use the technology effectively.
I will not only be training them, but I will bring the materials that I created to help train the original Liberty crew - since I was the only medic on board, I had written out detailed instructions on how to use the basic medical equipment and supplies in case I had been incapacitated and needed medical attention. I think that this same material will work well in this situation.
I am not sure how long I will be on G'naal's ship. I can only hope that it won't be long.
On a related note, in the course of this conversation with G'naal, we have discovered that there is either an informant on board the ship, or there is some kind of surveillance equipment that has been placed on board. She knows far too much for it to just be a lucky guess.
