Possible Sabotage

There was an explosion in Engineering today.  Five crewmen were injured, several of them seriously.


The injuries are upsetting.  The fact that this may not have been an accident is even more so.  There are whispers that this is sabotage.


We've added several new crewmen lately, but to be honest, the whole crew is new.  We've only been on board for a few weeks.  The only one I trust - ironically enough - is Jared.  We may fight like two cats in a sack, but I trust him.


We're investigating the cause.  "We" meaning Jared and the crew.  I'm a doctor, not a CSI. 


Bail Organa has offered his ship as a place to evacuate, should the situation call for it.  I hope it doesn't come to that, but if it is necessary, I'm glad it's available.


Speaking of Bail, he is quickly becoming a very important part of my life.  He is a fascinating man, an amazing man.  Smart, charming, witty, *blushes* handsome and sexy.  We spend most of our time off together, either on his ship or mine.  The time we share is....magical.


I am quickly falling for him.  More than I can even admit to myself, I think.  Certainly more than I can tell him.  It's too soon.  


He is a Senator, a man of great importance.  To me, though, he's just Bail.  Someone I can be myself around.  Someone who doesn't think of me as "Dr. Xiao" or as the Chief Medic.  I can just be "Miya" with him.  That's one of the reasons we started spending time together - we can both be ourselves around each other.


He makes me laugh.  He makes me feel so cared for.  So....beautiful.


Perhaps soon I can tell him exactly how fond I am of him.  More than just fond of him, actually.
